GIS Services •  Pictometry •  Mobile GIS Data Collection

Old Colony Planning Council utilizes Geographic Information Systems to assist all departments and the communities in developing spatial data. Data from a variety of sources, such as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of Geographic Information (MassGIS) and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), as well as data collected by OCPC are used to facilitate the planning process. Using ESRI's ArcGIS software, OCPC generates maps for a variety of purposes, from analysis and planning to publication and presentation. Examples of OCPC's mapping work are available for viewing and download. Also among the many powerful tools employed by OCPC's GIS team are Pictometry and a Trimble mobile GIS, highlighted in this section.

OCPC can provide GIS training, conversion of hard copy geographic information into digital, field data collection and creation, plotting and printing services, and geographic data analysis.
