Summary:

Over the next two weeks, the House and Senate will both pass their versions of the over $800 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) package. During conferencing of the bill between the two branches, the House, the Senate and the Administration will all play key roles in crafting the final legislation.

Attached are the most recent summaries of both the House and Senate Bill nationwide allocation of recovery funding by state.  This information was made available through different sources.

Second, attached are new charts prepared by  that show how much money each state would receive under specific programs, as currently reflected in the House and Senate economic recovery packages.  Please note that these figures are subject to change by amendment on the Senate floor (for the Senate package), as well as the final House-Senate compromise if we ever get that far in the legislative process.  Additional charts and background information on the supporting methodology is available online at

 Stimulus Watch

StimulusWatch.org was built to help the new administration keep its pledge to invest stimulus money smartly, and to hold public officials to account for the taxpayer money they spend. We do this by allowing you, citizens around the country with local knowledge about the proposed "shovel-ready" projects in your city, to find, discuss and rate those projects. These projects are not part of the stimulus bill. They are candidates for funding by federal grant programs once the bill passes. Learn more by going to this website: http://www.stimuluswatch.org
